Shiftctl is operated by an ABN-registered Australian sole trader. This policy applies to all paid subscriptions and is designed to comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and applicable US state laws.
Shiftctl offers a permanent free plan. You can fully evaluate the core product before upgrading to a paid plan. No payment details are required to use the free tier.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind once a billing period has started. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain full access to your paid plan features until then.
Annual subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel an annual plan, you will retain access to your paid features until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused months on annual plans.
If the Service fails to function materially as described, or experiences significant unplanned downtime attributable to Shiftctl, we will provide a pro-rata credit or refund for the affected period. To request a remedy, contact us at support@shiftctl.com within 30 days of the incident.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law. If the Service has a major failure, you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL regardless of this policy. "No refund" clauses do not apply to faulty or misdescribed services under Australian law.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital service contract. However, this right is waived where you explicitly consent to immediate access and acknowledge the loss of the cancellation right before the service begins.
At checkout, UK subscribers are required to tick a checkbox confirming that the service begins immediately and that the 14-day cancellation right is waived. If you did not see or complete this step, please contact us at support@shiftctl.com within 14 days of subscribing.
Shiftctl subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current rate until cancelled. This applies in all US states, including California and New York, where explicit auto-renewal disclosure is required by law.
You will be notified of any price change at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription.
If you believe a charge was made in error or you have a dispute, please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved quickly. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
